5 Places Every Spanish Teacher Should Visit

Do you love traveling? And is it even better when it’s a Spanish speaking place? Do you love trying new things and experiencing a variety of city and nature? Read on to find out about my favorite travel spots for Spanish teachers.

Top 5 travel destinations for Spanish Teachers:

Buenos Aires, Argentina

Get ready to enjoy incredible food, and not just asado. Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had (inclding Italy) is in Buenos Aires. Try Banchero’s for some authentic and delicious pizza.

Madrid, Spain

I can’t say enough good things about my home away from home! You will never be bored. Having a café in the Plaza Mayor, enjoying a drink on the rooftop terraza Azotea with a view of the whole city, viewing the palacio with a picnic from the Templo de Debod, and shopping on Gran Vía. Not to mention my favorite museum: Sorolla museum. (Need more ideas, drop me a line on Instagram or Facebook. I will talk about Madrid for ever)

Granada, Nicaragua

Nicaragua is my off the beaten path destination for all things unique and amazing. Granada offers boat trips on the lake to private islands and an island full of monkeys. Then visit the cathedral before you stroll down the pedestrian street full of bars, restaurants, and shops. From Granada, you can view or swim in the lagoon, visit a coffee plantation, and go ziplining. Take a side trip to Leon to go volcano boarding

Arenal, Costa Rica

Ready to explore the cloud forest, hike a volcano, view spectacular waterfalls, or spend a day relaxing at a hot spring spa? Then you will love Costa Rica!

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

This holds a special place in my heart because it was the first Spanish speaking place I ever visited and the people are so kind. Puerto Vallarta is a great spot for families and couples. We prefer staying in the romantic zone with the cobblestone streets and local restaurants. My favorite breakfast spot is Azul Bistro. Check out Monzon Brewing for some great craft brews and amazing food. My favorite thing to do is stroll around the streets checking out the shops and then heading down to Playa de los Muertos for some drinks while enjoying the beach. For families, check out the boat rides (including the pirate ship!).

If you love traveling to Spanish speaking destinations as much as I do, you won’t want to miss these! Have you visited any of them? Drop me a line on Instagram or Facebook and tell me all about it.
