I am an enthusiastic Spanish teacher from Chicago who is always looking for new and creative ways to engage my students. My love for Spain first developed over a semester abroad in Madrid and continued to grow as I lived and worked there for a year after college.

Since 2007 I’ve taught high school Spanish at all levels. As language acquisition has moved in the direction of communication and proficiency (yay!) it has been my goal to create engaging activities to promote students’ use of the target language. Games, speaking task cards, and authentic materials are all items I use frequently in my classroom with great success.

After developing a number of activities, I decided to start sharing them with others on the *TpT website in 2013. I hope you will find them as useful as I have!
