Do your students need a more engaging way to learn the Spanish speaking countries? Have you tried stations? I love creating stations because it gives my Spanish students several opportunities to interact with the countries and flags in different ways. And once I’ve set them up, students can work independently. Curious how I set up my stations to teach the Spanish speaking countries? Read on!

Station 1:

Decorate your classroom with these papel picado posters with the countries and capitals. Or better yet…. Print the black & white version for your students to color to personalize your classroom.

Station 2:

Match the Spanish speaking countries & capitals with this puzzle. Great for kinesthetic learners!

Station 3:

With this puzzle, students match the Spanish speaking countries and their flags. Pro Tip- Print the black and white version and let your students color them in with the correct colors of the flags! Then use them later to decorate your classroom.

Station 4:

Your artistic students will love coloring in the maps! It is also a great way to practice colors in Spanish.

Station 5:

Get them speaking in Spanish about the countries with these task cards. Students quiz each other “quiz-quiz-trade” style.

These fun stations will get your students learning the Spanish speaking countries in no time! Sit back and relax while they visit each station.
