August 30, 2023 No Comments

I am obsessed with using word walls in my Spanish classroom! Are you interested in using word walls in your Spanish class but need some variety in how to display them? Read on to find out 3 different ways to use your word walls in class to mix it up and get the most bang for your buck.

Different ways to use word walls

Option One- Hang them up in your classroom

  • Hang up on walls
  • Bulletin boards
  • Hole punch and string them from the ceiling
  • Tape them to the windows
  • Hang the Super 7 verbs close to the projector screen so students can reference them while you’re doing a variety of activities
  • Hang the weather expressions near the windows

Option Two- Pass them out to students to use during class.

Do your Spanish students need more practice expressing opinions, feelings, and agreement? Looking to enhance Socratic seminars or their reactions to short stories and novels? These rejoinder posters & handouts are just what you need for classroom decor! Print them and pass them out to your class during your lessons. This is great for quieter students who can hold up the expressions if they’re too shy to speak. It is an easy way to get them involved and check for comprehension without making them too uncomfortable. Pro tip- make the signs double sided so the kids behind can see

Option Three- Classroom door

3. Decorate your class door with greetings students can use on their way into class
