1. Assign in class or for homework
If you’re a middle school or high school language teacher, these Spanish activities are a no prep way to give your students exposure to the Super 7 verbs! This is a great in class assignment when individual students need a little bit of quiet time. Read and draw activities are wonderful low stress activities for novice students. You can also easily assign it for homework either on paper or digitally.
1. Great sub plans!
Stressing about leaving Spanish sub plans? These read and draw Super 7 worksheets are a no prep activity that your sub can easily pass out or you can assign digitally ahead of time. Then when you return to class, grade them in partners or try the gallery walk activity below! They make a great sub plan because they require almost no prep work and give you lots to discuss once you’re back in class!
2. So easy to grade!
These worksheets are a great way to quickly check if your Spanish students are understanding the high frequency verbs like le gusta. All you have to do is check to make sure that the colors and drawings are correct. One quick look will let you know if your students are on track, making this a simple activity for Spanish teachers to review. Students can even check their work with a partner or in small groups once they’re done to make sure they have the same answers. 3. Create a gallery walk
After the students are finished, they leave their work on their desk and then walk around your Spanish classroom to appreciate the entire class’ work. (Major shout outs go to your most artistic students!). You can even use your coolest artwork as a student model for the rest of the class to check their answers. Ask follow up questions about their drawings as an easy way to incorporate question words & personal questions in Spanish
